Here's three of my kids skate 'n it up on our new quarter pipe. Taylor just learned her first trick called the rock to fakey, Trent is learning how to push then go up the ramp, and John is learning how to be more civilized in public.

I think it's time to post some more cute baby pictures. She's growing and changing so much that I'm just going to say, "she's only 2 months old"... for a couple more months.

My Dad, The Artist

This is one of my favorite paintings that my dad did. The background is snow peak and it's a place we would drive up to in the late fall when the vine maples are bright red and sometimes there would be a little snow on the ground. It's a peak that is so close to my parent's house that it looks like a mountain. The flowers in the picture are Lupine, Indian Paintbrush, and Bear grass. I was probably five years old when I learned all the names of these flowers from my parents. When most kids were drawing cats and dogs in grade school, I was drawing a red tailed hawk. Being outside and learning about God's creation was one of my favorite memories of my childhood.

This is an article written about my dad:

You are an excellent listener, with almost infinite patience.
You have complex, deep feelings, and you take great care to express them.

In love, you truly see relationships as an opportunity to connect and grow.

At work, you stay motivated and happy... as long as you are working toward a dream you support.
You would make a great photographer, alternative medicine guru, or teacher.

How you see yourself: Hardworking, ethical, and helpful

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Manipulative, weak, and unstable

20 weeks prego = letting it all hang out

I got the official, " no more sit-ups" from my doctor today. So, I said "probably shouldn't do push ups either." Maybe I should try to get out of tricep dips, dishes, and laundry too. My jeans are getting a little tight now so I'm wearing my funky pants around the house. I don't suppose anyone out there in Blogland is trying to sell Sevens, Citizens, or Paige jeans in size 27 maternity. Doesn't hurt to ask.

What do you think of these red hot shoes?

I'm just experimenting with photos, so please excuse my oddness.

Taylor's First Day of Kindergarten!

Okay, she's not really a model just super cute. Two songs that she learned at school were " 5 little monkeys jumping on a bed, one fell off and bumped his head..." and "Taylor stole the cookie from the cookie jar, Who me? Couldn't be!" So I heard these through out the evening, over and over. She was shocked to find out that I, a mom, would know these songs too.

Mommy & Me Tea Party

Taylor and I went to a mommy and me tea at Deepwood Estates, which is a really really old house. We had a lesson in manners during the tea w/ blueberry scones which was much needed for me. You know I can be really ill mannered at times.
